Refund Policy

Our commitment to fair and transparent refund practices.

Fairness for everyone. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for both Clients (bookings) and Providers (subscriptions).

1. For Clients: Appointment Bookings

Chekiraj acts as a booking platform connecting clients with independent service providers. Payments for services are typically made directly to the provider. Therefore, refunds for cancelled or rescheduled appointments are governed by the individual provider’s cancellation policy.

1.1 Cancellation by Client

  • If you need to cancel a booking, please do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee as determined by the provider.
  • No-shows (failing to attend without notice) are generally non-refundable.

1.2 Cancellation by Provider

If a provider cancels your appointment, you are entitled to a full refund of any fees paid in advance, or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

1.3 Disputes

If you believe you are entitled to a refund that has been unfairly denied, please contact our support team. We will review the case and mediate between you and the provider to reach a fair resolution.

2. For Providers: Subscription Plans

Providers pay a monthly or annual subscription fee to access Chekiraj’s premium features (Standard, Pro plans).

2.1 Subscription Fees

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance for the current billing cycle.
  • Refunds are generally not provided for partial months or unused time within a billing cycle.
  • If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to your plan features until the end of the current billing period.

2.2 Exceptions

Refunds for subscription fees may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Technical Errors: If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription due to a system error.
  • Service Unavailability: If Chekiraj experiences a significant, prolonged outage that prevents you from using the core features of your plan.

All refund requests for subscriptions must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the charge.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team with the following information:

  • Your account email address.
  • The date and amount of the transaction.
  • A detailed reason for the refund request.
  • Any relevant evidence (e.g., screenshots, communication with provider).

We aim to review all refund requests within 5-7 business days.

4. Processing Refunds

Once approved, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. Please note that depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

5. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of Chekiraj constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
